under the weeping willow tree weeps a wide-eyed young vagabond who isn't to fond of goodbyes though the dew on the grass is melted away the tears on her cheek won't leave, they just roll on down he don't care and its not very fair he's a boy who stole her heart and made it his own toy now she sits by herself alone used and not wanted by him anymore // a young man stands across the street his hands are raised to the heavens. he is shouting preaching hope faith and love a place with no more goodbyes he looks into her eyes and says "there is a man who loves you more than you could know, oh he's better than any man on this earth, he's better then you or I, he's better than what you think you have" // so she stood and crossed the street, to find something better something better then a tree that weeps, and just 3 years later under the weeping willow tree, he's got a ring in his pocket, and love that's like rockets, wide-eyes in her sockets, there weeping with joy, love ain't a toy, can't be destroyed. committed to one another, and something else, something better, someone who will never say goodbye.
